Indy Fuel Apartments, Indianapolis, IN
Challenge
The East Coast Hockey league team plays their home games @ the State Fair Coliseum and the apartment building was going to be built next door to the Fuel Tank Ice Rink in Fishers, Indiana. The ice rink hosts amateur hockey games and figure skating competitions and open skating for the public.
Solution
The CSUSA Indiana Team:
• CSUSA Indiana worked with Summit Construction (GC) to help achieve their construction schedule by being able to work in multiple areas at the same time while coordinating with their other subcontractors.
• CSUSA Indiana Plumbing crews installed new plumbing systems and plumbing fixtures for multiple apartments in this three-story building, plus a large locker room for the hockey players. Plumbing systems are complete with new plumbing fixtures, (320’) 3” copper main throughout the building and Uponor branch lines water lines with brass compression fittings for all apartments. CSUSA Indiana roughed-in natural gas piping for HVAC furnaces and a 100-gallon gas fired, high efficiency, power vent, domestic hot water heater.
• Delivered the project on time and on budget with zero safety incidents.
